Studying Tourism

Pursue an exciting career and tackle global challenges through responsible tourism.

A unique partnership

Through Southern Cross University's unique partnership with global hotel investment group Mulpha Australia, our students can study a range of undergraduate or postgraduate courses in tourism and hotel management, at The Hotel School campuses and online.

The Hotel School boasts campuses in the centres of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and on Hayman Island, and is perfectly located not only for study but also for internships in leading leisure and hospitality businesses.

Practical training in hotels and tourism structures with mentorship from experienced management professionals forms a fundamental part of our courses. This means you will be well-prepared for the demands of this dynamic sector once you graduate, with professional networks already in place – a key factor for career success.

Why study at Southern Cross University?

At Southern Cross University we're always looking for a better way to do things, that's why we created 'The Southern Cross Model'. By dividing the academic year into six-week terms, with a maximum of two subjects per term, students are better able to focus, dive deeply into the subject matter and really learn. The content is highly interactive, with real-world applications; and it leaves more time for the other things you love.
