Evidence-based natural medicine and a patient-centred approach

Our courses are underpinned by a framework of critical enquiry, clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice in naturopathy. They are patient-centered, integrated and interdisciplinary. Graduates will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to work with diverse patient groups and teams across a range of professional settings.

Why choose Naturopathy at Southern Cross?

“I wanted to become a naturopath because I could see that there was a missing link in conventional medicine and that missing link is the holism, it’s the patient empowerment and patient education, and treating the person rather than treating the disease.”

Why study at Southern Cross University?

At Southern Cross University we're always looking for a better way to do things, that's why we created 'The Southern Cross Model'. By dividing the academic year into six-week terms, with a maximum of two subjects per term, students are better able to focus, dive deeply into the subject matter and really learn. The content is highly interactive, with real-world applications; and it leaves more time for the other things you love.
